The Motorists Concours d'Elegance and Pt. Leo Estate acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live, the Boon Wurrung / Bunurung people of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
ANNOUNCEMENT
The Motorists Concours d’Elegance Board hereby announce the postponement of The Motorists Concours d’Elegance at Point Leo Estate until 2024.
As the event industry re-emerges from state-wide COVID shutdowns it has become increasingly apparent that industry wide shortages and cost increases will inhibit the Motorists Concours d’Elegance Board’s ability to offer an event in keeping with our partner and guest expectations without passing on substantial price increases.
The inaugural Motorists Concours d’Elegance at Point Leo Estate was a world class, prestigious and iconic event, and although a pared down event was a possibility, the view taken was that the event experience should not be diminished due to forces beyond the event’s control, and nor should our partners and guests be penalised with increased fees.
The Motorists Concours d’Elegance Board is confident that with the passing of time the event industry will return to pre-COVID levels, and these issues will be resolved bringing costs back inline.
We thank you for your interest and understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you back to what will be our biennial event in 2024, slated for the weekend prior to the Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix.
All for the drive,
The Motorists Concours d’Elegance Board
